These terms apply when you book a Billie & Blake creative experience or retreat. Billie & Blake is operated by Elizabeth Blake, trading as Billie & Blake (a sole trader), based at 34 Hythe Road, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 2LS. By booking, you agree to these terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Cancellation / Refund Policy.
Bookings are made through our website. A booking is confirmed once payment has been taken and you receive confirmation from us.
Unless stated otherwise on a specific experience page, our experiences are intended for adult guests. Any age requirements for a particular experience will be shown on that experience's page.
Prices are shown on each experience page in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices for future bookings, but not for bookings already confirmed.
Payment is taken at the time of booking, processed securely by Stripe. We do not directly store your full card details.
You'll receive a confirmation once your payment has gone through, followed by further practical information ahead of your day.
Each experience page sets out what's included, such as materials, food and hosting. We aim to deliver the experience as advertised, subject to the "Changes to an experience" section below.
Please tell us about any dietary requirements or allergies before your event, using the form we send after booking. We'll do our best to accommodate these, but can't guarantee a completely allergen-free environment, and it remains your responsibility to check with our hosts on the day if you have serious allergies.
Please let us know about any accessibility requirements ahead of your event, so we can discuss what's possible at the venue. We'll do everything reasonably practicable to help, but some venue features may be outside our control.
Materials and equipment provided as part of an experience remain suitable for general use as instructed by our hosts. Please follow any guidance given about handling materials or equipment safely.
We want every guest to feel comfortable and welcome. We ask that guests treat other guests, our hosts and the venue with respect, and follow any safety guidance given on the day. We reserve the right to ask a guest to leave an experience, without refund, if their behaviour puts other guests, staff or the venue at risk.
We may take photographs during an experience. Booking a ticket does not, by itself, give consent for identifiable photographs of you to be used in our marketing. We'll ask separately whether you're happy to be included in photography used for marketing purposes, and you're welcome to opt out at any time, including on the day, by speaking to our hosts.
Occasionally we may need to make minor changes to an experience, such as timings or the specific activity, to improve it or respond to circumstances on the day.
If needed, for example due to weather, we may move part or all of an experience to an alternative space at the same venue, such as moving from the gardens indoors.
Full details of cancellations, refunds, transfers and rescheduling are set out in our dedicated Cancellation / Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We won't be responsible for delays or changes to an experience caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, venue emergencies, or other circumstances we couldn't reasonably have avoided or planned for.
You're responsible for your own personal belongings during an experience. We recommend not bringing valuables you'd be worried about leaving unattended.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that can't legally be limited or excluded. Subject to that, we won't be liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses.
The Billie & Blake name, logo and website content belong to us and may not be used without permission.
If something about your experience wasn't right, please get in touch via our contact page and we'll do our best to put things right.
Our use of your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
